home question mark

Home by Phillip Phillips

This song has come up several times sychronistically as I’ve driven along the highway. I don’t watch TV, I’ve never heard this song before it was put on the radio and in seeking it out I discovered he was a winner on American Idol.

Every time I hear it, it feels like the Universe is speaking directly to me. It confirms that I am in the right place at the right time and there is no need to fret… there is more to come.

Hold on, to me as we go
As we roll down this unfamiliar road
And although this wave (wave) is stringing us along
Just know you’re not alone
Cause I’m gonna make this place your home

Settle down, it’ll all be clear
Don’t pay no mind to the demons
They fill you with fear
The trouble it might drag you down
If you get lost, you can always be found

Just know you’re not alone
Cause I’m gonna make this place your home

  1. As you know, one can make a wonderful playlist of songs about “home”. Here’s one I like from ’96…
“There`s more than one way home
    Ain`t no right way,
    ain`t no wrong
Whatever road you might be on
You find your own way, `cause
there`s more than one way home…”

    • Never heard that one before. It’s good. Think I like the Phillips song because of my recent move and I’m still seeking a place to live, to call home and his words are reassuring to me 🙂

  2. Wow, Gina, I have always loved this song, and remember when Phillip Phillips sang it for his finale on American Idol..I think he wrote it? Now I listen to it with different ears…it’s perfect for you..yes…and you are listening, aren’t you! 🙂 d

    • Oh yes! I’m certainly listening to everything the Universe is sharing 🙂
Isn’t it perfect!?! Singing directly to me! And others of course. Love you, Gx
