Look for Sweet Honey

Last night, as I was sleeping,
I dreamt – marvelous error!
that I had a beehive here,
inside my heart.
And the golden bees
were making white combs
and sweet honey
from my old failures

Antonio Machado; trans by Robert Bly

Something to contemplate: There really is no such a thing as ‘failure.’ Errors are how we grow. Labeling something a ‘failure’ is a judgement that doesn’t serve us. Reflect on the gems of sweet honey that you have gained from challenging experiences that have opened you to a brighter place.
