Chaos is part of life

“There is a crack in everything. That is how the light gets in.”

~ Leonard Cohen, Canadian singer, songwriter, musician, poet, novelist, and painter

Mike Dooley, New York Times Bestselling author, speaker, and entrepreneur in the philosophical New Thought movement teaches that our “thoughts become things,” an expression he made popular in Rhonda Byrne‘s book and video documentary on the Law of Attraction, The Secret (Wikipedia). In his book, Manifesting Change: It Couldn’t Be Easier, he talks about how chaos is part of everyday existence. He gives an example of chaos in a dripping facet – a dripping facet consistently releases the exact same volume of water every hour regardless of its chaotic, varied pattern. Life may be chaotic and varied but there remains a constant outcome. Mike teaches us that even though life can seem very chaotic at times, there is consistency in the seeming chaos and with dedicated alignment with a desired end-goal, we will manifest that which we are aiming toward.
