On the other hand, if your mind is negative, marked by fear, suspicion and feelings of helplessness, even among your best friends in a pleasant atmosphere and comfortable surroundings, you won’t be happy.

Here again, we are reminded of the benefits of a positive attitude. Spend a few moments contemplating what brings you inner peace. Meditation isn’t the only route to inner calm. Inner peace can come from an ‘aha’ moment, going for a run, resting quietly in a way that allows the mind to calm, listening to music, singing or doing an art project, taking a nap or sharing a deep connection with someone. Take the time to do things that bring you inner calm. The more inner calm you have, the more that peace can permeate through your life allowing positivity to be a natural state of being.
