Let’s make giving thanks a daily joy!
Allow this holiday to be a reminder of all that we have to be grateful for. Being grateful and acknowledging what you appreciate can realign, reconnect and create new neural pathways in our brain allowing us to more easily focus on the positive aspects of our lives. Call to mind what you have to be grateful for. Create a mental list, or even better put the list in writing. Set a reminder of some sort to appreciate the moment in order to create a new habit of calling your attention to that that you find pleasing, reassuring or calming. And then, even during challenging times, our spirits can be lifted.
